Having graduated from the University of Paris II (Assas) with a degree in Law, Olivier ITEANU has been a member of the Bar of Paris since December 1988. He also serves as a Professor in Telecommunications Law at the University of Paris XI (Law College "Jean Monnet"). Practise in Arbitration and In Mediation (accreditated by the Center of Mediation and Arbitration of Paris) Olivier ITEANU also holds, or has held,the following positions:
Olivier ITEANU has been one of the last French personalities having been designated by the board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICAAN), the worldwide authority managing the IP addresses and Internet domain names based in the United States of Amarica in California, as one of the 9 members of the At Large Study Committee (ALSC) and he is one of the two European representatives of this Committee. He has also a member of the Internet Review Panel, the chamber of appeal of the ICANN. Olivier ITEANU is the author of the following publications:
Each year since 1995, Olivier ITEANU has published more than 30 contributions in professional magazines such as "Informatiques Magazine", "Computer Reseller News", "Telecom Business Life", "Netcost Security", "PC Direct", "Mag.Securs", "ZD Net" etc.. Olivier ITEANU is an approved Representative and Advisor of the Agence pour la protection des Programmes (APP) since 1989, he is a member of the Editorial Commitee of EXPERTISES des sytèmes d'informations, the only nonthly magazine treating Information technology and Law in France, and member of the editorial commitee of the Quaterly magazine Droit de l'Informatique et des Télécommunications. He is responsible for the Information Technology course at the French School for Bar of Paris (Ecole Française du Barreaux) and he also contributes as a speaker for the judges before the French School for magistrates in Bordeaux and Paris. Olivier ITEANU gives training to professionals on "Information Technology Contracts" for the training company Lamy Formation and on "Internet and the Law" for the training company EFE, and on computer security for the RISC TECHNOLOGY Group. |
